Have you seen the Barbie Movie? I went after a friend urged me to go and check out Weird Barbie.
It would be easy to dismiss the character as the kooky one, however, for me her ‘weird’ qualities were aspirational.
Her role wasn’t huge but it was important to the story arc. In every scene she was in Weird Barbie; exuded empathy & understanding and embraced her own & others’ individuality and diversity.
Weird Barbie’s unconventional wisdom brought a fresh perspective. She understood that being different is not a weakness but a strength that can lead to innovative solutions and creative ideas. In short she “Embraced her Weirdsdom”.
