Do I need to be artistic to work with you?
Not at all. My approach is not about making art, better art or more art. It’s about how creativity influences all areas (Head, Heart, Hand, Health and Harmony) of our lives.
I don’t think I have a creative personality, is this for me?
Creativity, in my experience, isn’t a trait. Creativity is a state we can all experience more within our careers, our valued roles and everyday lives.
How is Coaching different to Counselling?
Coaching supports you to move from who/where you are right now to who/where you want to be. Counselling assists you to reflect, assess and heal past issues and experiences (trauma, unhelpful thoughts and behaviours) which may still be impacting you. If I believe counselling may be more beneficial for you right now, I will discuss this with you and provide appropriate referrals.
Can I still work with you if I am seeing a Counsellor?
Yes. Together, we will assess if you currently have the ability, desire and mindset to take the steps to move toward your goals.
How do I decide if I’m ready for Coaching?
I invite all my potential clients to join me in a Complimentary Clarity Call. The Clarity Call gives us both an opportunity to connect and decide if we are a good fit to work together. During this call we will discuss your hopes and dreams, what’s holding you back and whether coaching is right for you right now.
Coaching with me is right for you right now if:
- If you have tried on your own but keep getting stuck on the same doubt and fears.
- You have tried other traditional coaching programs and they didn’t resonate with you
- You want support to move you through and beyond your existing limiting beliefs and behaviours.
- You are in an optimistic place and you are ready to take the necessary actions even if you are not yet sure what your goals are.
Coaching is not right for you right now if:
- You are looking for a quick fix.
- You are in deep grief or have a mental health diagnosis which is not getting adequate treatment.
- You are looking for me to solve your problems or want someone to fix you
- You are feeling emotionally and mentally unable to take action and focus on desired future.
Whose responsibility will it be to do the work and for me to reach my goals?
I can’t do this for you. It is your responsibility to do the work necessary to reach your goals. As your coach, my role is to support and guide you to make distinctions and decisions that will move you toward your goals.
What is the H5 approach?
H5 has developed from Clients who generally found that focussing on Life Domains within traditional coaching methods wasn’t helping them. They found that their lives couldn’t be easily carved up into singular pieces of pie.
The H5 Approach focusses and infuses Head, Heart, Hand, Health and Harmony into every area of their lives. You don’t need to provide equal amounts of attention to each of the H5s each day to benefit from the Power. Being aware of where each currently shows up in your life may be enough to reap the benefit. Doing a little of each over the course of a week is enough to remain balanced.
